Call management - hunting

Q. We are currently with another VoIP provider. We need intelligent hunting facility in our call groups. I.e. they should be circular whereby the first number selected is not the first in the list, but the one after whichever extension answered the last call. This provides a "fairer" loading on the users in the group. Is this possible with your system?

A. Using the call queues on our system, you have a few options:

  • Ring All
  • Linear
  • Round Robin
  • Fewest Calls
  • Least Recent
  • Random

From what you described I would recommend trying Round Robin, which remembers where it last left off and starts ringing from the next extension in the list.
